Mike Bamiloye born April 13, 1960 in Ilesa, a town in Osun State in southwestern Nigeria, Mike Bamiloye hails from Ijebu-Ijesa in Osun State. He was trained at the Divisional Teachers’ Training College at Ipetumodu where he began his career. Bamiloye founded Mount Zion on 5 August 1985. Bamiloye’s debut drama Hell in Conference was staged at the National Christian Teachers Conference in 1986 at Ilesa in Osun State. He has featured, produced, and directed several Nigerian gospel films over the years.

A movie that explains his early life and the beginning of his ministry was released in 2020 to celebrate his 60th birthday, the title of the movie is called “The Train”.

Mike Bamiloye Marriage and Family

Mike Bamiloye is married to Gloria Bamiloye, a Nigerian film actress and evangelist. They have two sons, Christian film maker and producer Damilola Mike-Bamiloye, Joshua Mike-Bamiloye, a daughter Darasimi Gomba-Oyor, and grand children. Mike and Gloria Bamiloye married on 8 October 1988.

History of Mount Zion Film

Bamiloye founded Mount Zion on 5 August 1985. Bamiloye’s debut drama Hell in Conference was staged at the National Christian Teachers Conference in 1986 at Ilesa in Osun State. Mount Zion Film Production has raised many Gospel Actors, Producers and Script Writer etc…

Mount Zion Film is a Christian film production company based in Ibadan, Nigeria, which specialises in casting, producing and distributing Christian films and drama films. It was founded on the 5th of August 1985 by Christian writers and actors Mike Bamiloye and Gloria Bamiloye, and consists of Christians from several countries, who work to promote Christian teaching through motion pictures.

On July 11, 1986, the ministry staged its first play in St. Margaret Girls’ school, Ilesha. In 1987, Mike Bamiloye resigned so he could concentrate on Mount Zion Faith Ministries.

The first film produced by Mount Zion Film was “The Unprofitable Servant” in 1990. Since then it has produced more than 200 films, including Ide Esu, The Beginning of The End, Perilous Times, Abattoir, House on Fire, One Careless Night, etc.
