NNL: Maikaba blames officiating for Wikki Tourists draw against Barau FC

Wikki Tourists technical adviser, Abdullahi Maikaba has blamed poor officiating for his team’s goalless draw against Barau FC in the Nigeria National League (NNL) Super 8 playoffs

Maikaba believed that the referees played a role in the outcome of the game played at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba on Tuesday.

“I’m not happy with the officiating. They (referees), have taken sides and I’m not happy at all”, Maikaba said after the game.

Wikki Tourists have recorded two points from their two matches at the tournament.

The Bauchi Elephants will be up against Yobe Desert Stars in their final group match of the competition on Thursday.

Wikki Tourists need a win in the game to qualify for the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) next season.
