The Nature of God
If you want to know and understand God, you must know his nature and attribute, that will give you a way to understanding who he is.
There are attributes about God that has been revealed to us, which we would discuss, though there are some nature of God that will remain a mystery, because it haven’t been revealed.
Those things that are revealed belong to us and our children.
- God is a Spirit; John 4:24 “God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth. ” The first thing you must know about God is that he is a Spirit, God is not flesh, or wood or iron but a Supreme Spirit, that created and form everything in existence spiritually and physical, Numbers 23:19 “God is not human, that he should lie not a human being, that he should change his mind.
- The ways of God are Perfect; God does not operate by chance or try and error, his ways are perfect , he knows everything, and whatsoever he does is perfect. Psalm 18:30 “As for God, his way is perfect: The Lord’s word is flawless he shields all who take refuge in him.”the foolishness of God is wisher than any man or spirit.
- God is Righteous; whatever God does is righteous and the heaven proclaim his righteousness, Psalm 50:6, Gods righteousness is above any man’s righteousness, for the righteousness of man is like a filthy rag before God.
- God is Love; 1John 4:7-8, if anyone wants to know Love, he should study God. His nature is Love.
