Donna Wayas, late ex-senate president’s daughter is dead

ABUJA (CONVERSEER) – The first daughter of late ex-senate president Joseph Wayas, Donna Wayas, is dead.

According to CrossRiverWatch, Donna ‘Yesida’ Wayas died at age 62 on 14th July in Abuja.

“She died after a brief illness, according to journalist and rights activist, Agba Jalingo.

Converseer reports that her death came almost 8 months after her father, who was the senate president in the 4th Republic, was buried.

Recall that her father died at age 80 in London, United Kingdom, in 2021, and was buried 3 years later.

Donna Wayas, who was born in March 1963, served as a Director (Legal Advisor) of Universal Service Express Limited, a courier firm in the United Kingdom, between 2000 and 2005.

She voluntarily resigned on 12th April 2005, and the firm was dissolved on 31st August 2010.
